Internet Explorer 7, upgrade is inevitable.

One week has passed after MS released its newest web browser, Internet Explorer 7.

Microsoft managed to pack in a number of improvements in new IE. In my experience new IE is quite smooth and stable browser. Together with improvements in security, CSS handling, tabs and looks, IE7 seems to be a decent upgrade from previous version.

Firefox 2.0 on the other hand is the same old Firefox and improvements in FF2.0 are quite minor.

Given this, I believe that many Windows users will be compelled to upgrade to Internet Explorer 7 for its features and novelty. Most probably CIOs would support migration as well. Due to this admins would have no choice but to migrate users to IE7 eventually.
I ve started preparing for the process, just in case I receive the request for migration ;-) .
