Version 1.0.44.9 of AutoHotkey was released on August 9, 2006.

AutoHotkey is a free keyboard management utility. It allows changing the meaning of buttons, create simple shortcuts (as well as very complex shortcuts), macroses and whole lot of other features. It is also possible to create custom executables which would have configs built in. AutoHotkey is extremely useful for those companies and users who need support for fancy characters which are not available on keyboards. It is also great to use AutoHotkey to replace complex shortcuts that some applications have (such as Photoshop) with simple ones. I am using AutoHotkey to change the meaning of function keys on my laptop.
