TFT tests utilities

TFT monitors are everywhere. Corporate and home users are migrating to new monitor technology.

Unfortunately along with quality monitors provided by well known manufacturers there are are other companies which supply inferior screens at low prices.

It is easy to understand that the company or a person is trying to save money, however it might result in inferior products purchased.

There is a number of utilities which can be used to minimize the risk of purchasing monitors with dead or stuck pixels.

These are

DPT - Dead Pixel Tester . It is a pretty nice utility and simple to use. No need to install, just run the executable file.

Nokia Monitor Test. This one is a classic. It is pretty old but still does the job. Great tool to find problems with TFTs. It is freeware.

When buying or evaluating a TFT try to use one these utilities to avoid disappointment later.
